WTR Group has acquired Industrispecialisten Rallab AB ("Rallab"), a Swedish supplier of hoses, pipes and couplings to the Nordic water & wastewater and environmental service sector.
Rallab is a leading supplier to water & wastewater and environmental service applications, with a focus on hoses and coupling solutions for demanding applications. The product range includes industrial and environmental hoses for suction, pressure and transport of water, sludge and other media, couplings, as well as its own brand Snowflex, a hose for applications within environmental and sludge suction. The company is headquartered in Kungsbacka and has a Norwegian subsidiary for export sales.
Its customers are found primarily among environmental companies working in sludge suction, high-pressure flushing and vacuum sanitation, as well as among pump and water & wastewater companies engaged in bypass pumping. Through its proximity to customers, high level of service, technical expertise and large inventory, Rallab has built a strong position in its niche.
The founders, Robert Axlund and David Liden, will continue in their roles in the business following the acquisition and say: "We look forward to the collaboration with WTR Group. Through the acquisition, WTR Group strengthens its product portfolio within flow service and broadens its offering toward the water & wastewater and municipal sector, while Rallab gains access to a broader network and new opportunities for growth in the Nordics and Northern Europe.
